Johnson's how I love thee.... Avon how you dissapoint me!

Today I popped into Superdrug with my mum and saw that all Johnson's products were half price!! I just had to grab a couple of my favourites seeing as I was running out and at half price why not?
I ended up getting just 2 which were Dreamy skin relaxing body cream and the 24 hour moisture hand cream which I both love.

Johnson's Dreamy Skin Relaxing Body Cream
£1.49 at Superdrug

This is more like a body butter a really thick and creamy consistency that's non greasy, goes on easily and really absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling really soft with a nice soft soothing fragrance.
It's designed for use as part of your nightly routine and to help you get a better nights sleep, I'm not sure if it actually does help me get a better nights sleep but definitely makes me feel more relaxed.

Johnson's 24 Hour Moisture Hand Cream
99p at Superdrug

This has got to be my favourite hand cream EVER!! I love the fact that its so cheap and really does the job, most hand creams either leave my hands feeling like they need a good wash or like they sucked all the moisture out of them and left me with damp out of the bath feeling hands which I'm sure nobody likes the feeling of!.
This glides on like its putting a coating of silk over my hands and absorbs well into the skin without leaving any greasy residue, my hands are moisturised for ages after using this and it smells really nice sort of girly but not in a really overpowering way.

Urrrggghhh!!

Now I realise that I really don't like Avon hair products! Like promised I said I would tell you how I get on with the curl defining gel when i decided to wear my hair curly and here it is.

Avon Advance Techniques Curl Defining Gel
£4.50 but bought in a 3 for £5 offer

Where do I even start? I was scared to even try it after my last attempt with their hair products (click here if you want to know how that was) but I thought why not, the only way I'm going to know is by trying. It feels non sticky when you put it in your hands so I was thinking good start and it smells nice too so even better, then I applied it to my hair.... dum, dum, dum It was awful for something that claims 'to separate curls, adding definition and bounce without weighing hair down' it did none of these things my curls seemed to gather in a sticky matted mess along with looking really bitty. I waited for my hair to dry fully just to see what the end result would be and it was a dull looking matted mess nothing close to bouncy separated curls, I had to immediately rinse it off my hair and start from scratch all over again... Deciding to just go back to my John Frieda Dream Curls spray and my Osis Loopy curl cream.

If any of you know of a good brand for curls please let me know :)

Have a lovely night girlies xxx
