I get asked about how to make curls frizz free and in tip top condition all the time and the key is keep them hydrated and moisturised!

When washing your hair try not to rub so much but massage the hair as rubbing roughens the cuticle resulting in frizz and condition by scrunching the conditioner into the hair to refrain from roughing the cuticle anymore than what needs to be. Also investing in a great cut can help a lot seeing as if you have a lot of layers in the wrong area or a one length cut you can get that frizzy unruly look even if you have been taking great care of your hair.

I find leaving curly hair to dry naturally is the best way to keep your curls looking frizz free and adding to much product can make them look less than nice... Although when getting the excess moisture out after washing do not rub your hair with the towel but scrunch the moisture out with it in the direction of the curl as this will help to keep the curls intact, also brush your hair with a wide toothed comb before taking the excess moisture out of it.

Normally I just use a serum like John Frieda Frizz Ease and a curl cream like Schwarzkopf Osis Curl Me Soft and this works as an amazing combination (Curl me soft has taken over from my all time favourite Loopy), I also use John Frieda Dream Curls to revive my curls the next day but this is what I have found works best with me and a few people I know have taken on this method too.

When applying products make sure you work them into the hair in a scrunching motion as you don't want to try and stretch the curl or roughen it up.

Good Products For Curly Hair

John Frieda Frizz Ease

Umberto Giannini Curl Friends Scrunching Jelly
These can be easily found in any Superdrug/Boots etc

Schwarzkopf Osis Curl Me Soft
TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Leave in Conditioner

These can be found in salons that sell Schwarzkopf/TIGI products and more than likely online
