Reunited With An Old Friend....

When I was trailing websites looking at what sales they had going on I came across something that made me squeal with excitement and grab my shiny black card in a frantic bid to purchase it no matter how much it cost, what was this that got my heart a flutter and made me act like a frantic woman?

Vera Wang - Rock Princess

When this dropped through my door the first thing I did was rip it open and spray it, then I let out a little burst of tears for the fact that I had been reunited with an old friend.... My best friend in fact.

My love affair with this perfume started when it came out in 2009 with me wearing it continuously from that very first bottle, 3 bottles later I run out and go to re-buy when the lady in the shop tells me 'we only have two left its a limited edition perfume and its time has run'.... I snapped them up!.

My last ever spray of my last Rock Princess was in January this year, I searched for more in my local shops I even went ahead and purchased 2 online that never turned up its safe to say I was absolutely gutted. I have seen it about on other sites since ordering the two that never turned up but I didn't trust it and I couldn't have my little heart ripped out again, then like I say I'm searching the sales and I landed on Escentual.com and by some freakishness (I call it fate) because I wasn't even searching Perfume or for Vera Wang - Rock Princess was sitting on my screen on a site I actually trust and within reaching distance of me being reunited with a scent that makes me happy, that transports me back to fun laughter and just amazingness.

Four days after ordering I had it in my clutches, which I think is utterly amazing seeing as I ordered it on Christmas day. I am now the happiest girl in the world thanks to being reunited with the love of my life, my best friend.... My Vera Wang Rock Princess!

What I Got For Christmas and A Few Sneaky Sale Purchases

So in my last post I asked you guys if you would like to see what I got for Christmas and the answer was yes, I just want to say I am by no means showing off with my presents and I know that I am fortunate to of got what I got for Christmas...

Laptop - I was able to have this a few weeks early as mine broke at the beginning of the month but still a Christmas present

Kurt Geiger Purse, Card Holder, Silver Bracelet and Gold Bracelet

One Direction Dare to Dream Book, Soap and Glory Big Splendour Bag, Liberty of London and Hello Kitty Lip Balms, Kylie Minogue Perfume Set, Pink and Silver Purse, Britney Spears Radiance Perfume Set, Gok Wan Body Shimmer, Accessorize Eyelashes, lip gloss and Eyeshadow Set.

I also got a few things that aren't pictured like Lush's Christmas Candy Box, make up brushes, the big Vaseline tin with 4 inside, a hot water bottle with eye mask, Ted Baker gift set and a box of Ferrero Rocher :)

I was then lucky enough to grab a few little bargains in the sales, which were things that I originally wanted for Christmas but decided to wait and grab them afterwards....

Soap and Glory - The Bright Stuff - Originally £35 - I paid £17
Britney Spears Cosmic Radiance - Originally £23 - I paid £11.50
Umberto Giannini Create a Curl Kit - Originally £16 - I paid £8
Umberto Giannini Curl Friends - Originally £9 - I paid £4.50

Loverdose 50ml Gift set - Originally £39.99 - I paid £31.99 (Although the 50ml perfume by itself is actually £46-£48)

Lush Christmas Bargains - 50% off all Christmas stock, I bought far too much to list it all but I will say I picked up 6 Magic Wands and enough Snow Fairy to last me a while!

I also picked up a lot of underwear from La Senza and Ann Summers, serious bargains in them both at the moment with Ann Summers having a lot of their bras for £3 and knickers for £1 or £2 plus La Senza have half price on practically everything and 70% off the rest... Obviously to do with the fact they are closing down too.

I also have a few online purchases that I am awaiting to arrive which I can't wait for as they are quite exciting and also wanted to say I am sorry for the quality of some of the pictures but I seem to of left my camera lead somewhere so have had to be taking them on my phone.

What did you get for Christmas? What was your favourite present? Been into the sales yet?

Lush Lovin' - Rocketeer and a Magic Wand Update

Hey Girls!!

How exciting is it that Christmas is here next weekend!! I am so excited to say the least as it is possibly my favourite time of the year. Plus I'm getting into the Christmas spirit by using up loads of all the Lush Christmas goodies I have, seriously think I went OTT on getting them but hey its Lush and its Christmas!!.

Rocketeer

I adored this ballistic from before I used it, the cute little rocket ship that was covered in Silver dust just smelt so good and looked even better. I couldn't wait to use it but I wanted to make sure I used a lot of less interesting Lush bits before I did and I am so glad I did because the excitement that surrounded being able to use this was like the excitement Christmas day actually brings.

When you smell this before you pop it in the bath it smells like sweets, cream soda or candy canes, I can't quite put my finger on the exact one but maybe its a mixture of the whole three?! Whatever it is it smells amazing and not sickly sweet. I popped it in my bath and it started to fizz, slowly moving around the tub leaving a trail of yellow with silver sprinkles behind it.

The smell that had started to come off it was absolutely amazing, nothing too strong and overpowering like some ballistics can be but instead a lighter fragrance of the sweet cream soda candy cane combo with a twist..... I could actually smell a zesty citrus smell too, I can not explain how nice this actually smelt but I could possible go as far as saying my favourite smelling Lush product to date!.

The water was just changing colour so rapidly too, going from a very light blue to an orangy yellowy green then finally settling on a deep turquoise. I also think the other thing I really liked about this was the fact that it slightly frothed, so left a really nice foam on the top of the bath along with lots of colour splodges and silver dust too.

It left the water feeling amazingly soft and it also left my skin feeling the same, with the slight linger of the sweet zesty smell too. Overall I really like this, I need to try and see if I can grab a few more before these disappear from the stores because who knows if they will actually be back next year.

Magic Wand Update...

Do you remember my Magic Wand post where I said that I would update you on how many baths I have actually gotten out of it? Well that time has come!
The above picture was taken just before bath number 12 and then it lasted for two more afterwards so the grand total was..... 14!

Have any of you tried these?

xxx

PS... Just want to say sorry for using the stock photo for Rocketeer but because my laptop broke I lost a lot of photos I had taken as before pictures and didn't realise until after I had used this otherwise I would of snapped another before using.

A Few Things I Wouldn't Mind Finding Under My Tree

Hi Girls!

How are you all? I am freezing I can tell you that! It seems like no matter how much I have the heating on at home its still freezing in here, I swear its to do with the position of where my flat is as in the summer it also becomes like a greenhouse so I can never win.... I suppose its because we are located at the top of my block of flats and right on the corner with no shelter from anything.

Anyway I have all of my Christmas shopping done, everyone has basically got what they wanted except for Panga as she has asked Santa to bring her Justin Bieber so she can marry him which I'm pretty sure is not going to happen so she will have to make do with a doll of him that sings Baby..... I am already dreading this present being played over and over and over and over again!. I think I am also pretty much sorted on the present front because I start dropping hints and not subtle ones, they will hit you like a gigantic sledge hammer way before people even think about buying presents or I get asked what I want but I would still love to see these under my tree....

Sugar Babe Sugar Scrub
100g Vanilla Dee-lite body lotion
100g Candy Cane soap
100g Snow Fairy shower gel
100g Angel's Delight soap
Heavenilli massage bar

I would love to see this sitting under my tree because I am just a massive Lush'a'holic plus I love every single thing that is in here, I so should of asked for one of these but instead I asked for the Christmas Candy Box

Cinders Bath Bomb
Satsumo Santa Bath Bomb
So White Bath Bomb
Lil' Lush Pud Bath Bomb
Golden Wonder Bath Bomb
The Rocketeer Balistic
Abombinaball Ballistic
Glogg Showel Gel
Snow Fairy Shower Gel
100g The Jilted Elf Shower Jelly
Superstars Bubble Bar
Christmas Eve Bubble Bar
Gingerbread House Bubble Bar
Three Gold Rings Bubble Bar
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
Magic Wand Bubble Bar
The Melting Snowman Bath Melt
Snow Globe Soap
Northern Lights Soap
Snowcake Soap
Angels Delight Soap
Candy Cane Soap
Australian Igloo Sugar Scrub
Pow Wow Lip Scrub
Chilli Tingle Lip Tint

Ah how many Christmas Lush wonders are in this box, I would just love, love, LOVE this box but the price is something that's put me off asking for it or buying as it is just bath/shower products.

I have wanted this for what seems like forever but have been on the fence, I have used regular double wear but for me it just doesn't cover enough plus after reading loads of rave reviews over the last couple of weeks I have decided this is a need not just a want.

I have wanted this since I saw it at the Paul and Joe event I attended, its an absolutely gorgeous nail polish with loads of holographic type glitter in..... BEAUTIFUL!!

So there you have it a few little bits that I would like to see popped under my tree!

I also have a majorly embarrassing thing to admit too, if you follow me on Twitter you will have probably of seen my crazy tweets with Hayley and Natalie about One Direction.... Well I have also asked my mumma bear to get me Harry Styles for Christmas.... If he's old enough for Caroline Flack he's old enough for me too, right? ;)

Is there anything you are lusting over for Christmas?

xxx

P.s... I also blogged over at Did you say Charli earlier, so come over and have a nose! I'm going to aim to post a lot more over there especially with updates of my diet I am on.

Radox Spa Range

Hey girls!

Radox recently launched their Spa Range which include Bath Soaks, Shower Scrubs and Shower Creams.
The range is designed to give you all the relaxation and joy of a Spa treatment but in the comfort of your own home and at a fraction of the price, I was asked if I would like to try a couple of products from the range which I obviously said yes to as a firm favourite shower gel for me is Radox's Nourish Shower Cream from their main line. I did get sent two different ones which were Purify Shower Cream and Radiant Shower Scrub but I'm only going to tell you about the Radiant Shower Scrub as I haven't even tried the Purify one yet as I liked this one too much.

Radox Spa Range - Radiance Shower Scrub - RRP £2.21

First off lets start with the bottle, its the obvious Radox shape but the big problem I had with it was the fact it didn't have the little hook handle like their regular shower gels. I actually think I let this bug me a lot more than it should of but its just something I have come to expect from a Radox shower gel is that I can hook it within easy reach without having to think I might knock it over with slippery hands.
Now the product itself is really nice, the smell is gorgeous and really girly!. I do think for the fact of it being a scrub it could of had a few more scrubby bits in as I like to feel loads of them in a scrub but that's just a personal preference.
It lathers really well and left my skin feeling soft and revived, the smell also lingered for ages afterwards which was nice as I kept getting whiffs of it during the day.

You can buy Radox from practically anywhere too, which has to be a bonus! I have seen these in Boots, Superdrug, Sainsburys and Morrisons plus I'm sure they are in plenty more plus there always seems to be an offer on Radox in one of these places so you could even grab it at even more of a bargain price than they already are.

Have you tried these? Are you going to?
