Elle @ ElleCosmetique



This week I am having to work like a crazy woman which means I probably wont have much time to blog so I have let a few people take over my blog this week starting from today... I hope you enjoy their posts and leave them lots of lovely comments too :)

Sleek Contour Kit

Let me introduce you to the Sleek Contour Kit. As you can probably tell from the pictures it is a very loved product of mine (taking pictures of things that aren't in perfect condition makes me cringe) but unfortunately, when a product is loved it tends to get a bit messy!
This is my go - to brozer, a perfectly matte brown shade that even on my pale skin blends out to a beautiful glow. I have this in the colour "light" which I've seen the palest of people to quite dark skinned people wearing and on both it looks amazing. I use this on an angled blush brush, do a fishy face and make quite a strong contour, then blend out with a normal blush brush for a more natural effect.


The only thing I can honestly say I dislike about this product is, the highlighter. Overly shimmery for daytime use and to sparkly on camera when your on a night out (with having pale skin it just looks like I'm in twilight) so I bet you ask, why buy a "kit" if your own using one part of it. Well, the bronzer is that amazing I don't mind only using that bit and its also a super cheap price of around the £5-£6 mark and lasts forever. But, I do use the highlighter as an eyeshadow.



Highlighter applied all over the lid and then the bronzer shade as a crease colour, it gives a really nice and easy natural bronzed eye that I love and wear on a regular basis.
All in all, I think this is the best bronzer on the drugstore front for a very long time. Even though its been out for a while now and sleek hasn't done anything in the last few months like bring on new collections etc, I think this is something people will always talk about and continue to buy & I know ill definitely be one of those people, this baby will be in my makeup bag forever!

  4. I've been obsessing over this product for the last few days funnily enough! I know it's been out for a while but I saw it on a couple of blogs last week and have decided I need it. I've asked my friend to get it for me for my birthday and asked for the shade light, same as Elle, so hopefully that's the right colour for me too! Lovely guest post, will check out Elle's blog now =)

  5. I always love the look of bronzers on other people and in the pan and wish I could use them. I have a really odd skintone though, it's really pale and olive at the same time and I'm yet to find a bronzer (or a blusher, either!) that doesn't look ridiculous on me :(
