Kristie @ Pretty Me Blog

Christmas just gone, I received a French Connection Gift set from Boots, Now don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t at all ungrateful but I don’t often do cartwheels over presents like these, I’m so used to seeing this gift sets over the lead up to Christmas while out shopping I know what they are about before I have even opened them. But to my utter surprise and delight this one was a cracker.

The set included some Body Butter, a spray and this little gem… a moisturising bodywash.  This first thing I noticed about this is the colour of the tube, I am in the first stages of planning my wedding and am looking for a lovely dusky pink and this is the exact colour! I shall be taking this along to my florist…
What the bottle reads is… A luxurious velvety shower cream enriched with natural oils for soft and supple skin – Sounds fab right?! The natural oils are rosehip, coconut and antioxidant vitamin E.
The Bodywash itself is a gorgeous thick creamy consistency that’s very smooth. I’m not a fan of runny cool bodywashes, I like something that hangs around for a while and really skinks into your skin. This does exactly that, it really soaks in and leaves your skin feeling extremely soft. The smell is gorgeous too which always helps. Don’t let the information about the coconut put you off as it doesn’t really smell of coconut, its creamier… sometimes I can be funny with coconut smells if they are too sweet.

It doesn’t really lather up massively like other body washes but I actually like that, it stays creamy and doesn’t slip off the skin. You can pick this up from Boots store, it retails at £5.11 for a 200ml bottle – a little goes a long way.  At the moment in Boots stores its 3 for 2 on all FCUK body care products!

  1. We've just finished our bottle of this and I loved it. The fragrance is amazing, and I find that it really lathers up if you use one of those fluffy sponge things. I love it. Definitely a repurchase for me. Glad you liked it. x
