Let Me Introduce You To My Lover!

It's no secret to anyone that I am a massive Illamasqua fan, I would even go as far as saying they are my favourite brand by miles. I love how they push the boundaries of make up, have some of the nicest MUA's working in their shops and have products to die for. I'm always lusting after one of their products and this one I had lusted after for longer than I can remember I just never got around to buying it until recently.

As soon as I stepped foot into the Illamasqua Flagship Store all I could talk about was getting my hands on this bad boy, I was literally begging the MUA to show me where it was so I could show everyone why they needed it in their life (Jessie James was her name and she was absolutely lovely, so informative and so very patient, so was the other MUA Alex, who had the most AMAZING eyebrows I have ever seen!).

Anyway to cut a rather long and embarrassing story short (it involves me without make up and touching my face a lot.... Maybe in another post I shall tell you why!) I made the blush I had craved after for so long mine. There's nothing I don't like about this blush, its amazingly soft, has a matt finish and has so much pigmentation that it only takes a tap of my brush to get a nice flush of colour plus it is buildable for a more intense look.

All Illamasqua blushes are long wearing and this one is exactly the same, if the rest of my make up has budged I can guarantee that I will still have gorgeous Apricot cheeks at the end of the day.

Do you have any favourite Illamasqua blushers?

  2. I was supposed to have bought this but I got on the train on the way home from the shopping trip and realised they had given me the complete wrong one :( so it had to go back with my friend (as I live quite a way away from the nearest Illamasqua) and I ended up with no blush :(

  7. I have to confess that I have never purchased any of the Illamasqua products. I am a very regular visitor to their online shop, and I pick lots of items, but then worry that i will hate them when they arrive, (Im a terrible impulse buyer)
I really fancy a couple of their pure pigments, (static in particular), lipgloss and blushers. This one could be a good one for me! Id love to hear any other suggestions from an illamasgua devotee xx

    1. Illamasqua products are fantastic! They have to be by far my favourite brand, I would say start by getting a blush (Lover, Unrequited, Chased - Powder Blush or Rude, Dixie, Sob - Cream Blush ) Or their pressed powder to see how you actually like them as they are my favourite products. Also they do really nice lipsticks so maybe one of them too :) Hope this helps xxx
