Birthday Wishlist

So in 11 days I shall be celebrating my birthday, I look forward to it every year as its in the summer and I get to just laze about normally in some beer garden enjoying the sun nattering with all my friends.

I do like anyone love presents, I normally get a lot of what I ask for but of course I know some things are out of peoples reach so that's why I have a wishlist that consists of....

And finally...

A trip to Rome.

I think if I got the trip to Rome I would absolutely die, I only want to go for a few days and have been wanting to go for as long as I can remember but lately it has been niggling me that I have to do it now!

So that's my wishlist, keep your fingers crossed for me that I get something off it to make me one very happy lady.

Illamasqua Freak Perfume

From the moment Illamasqua bought out their Freak perfume I have wanted it, I was given a sample when I bought some make up and had one in a Glossybox.... From this moment I was sold but I wasn't sold on the £59.00 price tag, I had been umming and arring over it for months upon months when finally last month I bit the bullet and purchased myself a bottle. I'm so glad I did because I had this little crazed perfume gremlin inside of me screaming every time I decided not to get it, but now it has been fed its quietened down.

Now I am 100% rubbish at describing perfumes and smells, all I can say from my point of view is this is beautiful.. Its very strong but not in the awful over powerful way some are, its also mysterious and indulgent with perfectly musky warm notes.

I tend to wear this more when I'm going out or in the night as I like a nice airy perfume during the day or at least something a little lighter. The good thing about Freak is the fact it lingers, so a little goes a very long way plus the bottle is 75ml so when you think about value for money its actually very good when I have spent £40-£50 on only 50ml of product before. I think even though the price was the thing that was putting me off, it has more than been justified now with how long lasting and how little you need.

I've had my bottle for about a month now and it basically looks brand new even though I have worn it at least six days out of seven every week.

Have you tried Freak? What do you think about spending money on perfumes?

MUA Going For Gold Eyeshadow Palette

MUA are really banging out the Pro Palettes lately, with the Undressed Palette and now the Going For Gold Palette which is obviously perfectly named with this summers Olympics coming up. I am a massive fan of MUA and their eyeshadows are what made me fall in love with them, along with the price and quality of their products.

Top picture - Top Row
Bottom Picture - Bottom Row

This palette has really good pigmentation and the eyeshadows themselves are really buttery, although there is a little bit of fall out when you apply them but it's nothing major and shouldn't be anything to put you off getting it.

They also blend like a dream so you can create some really nice looks with them, I personally really like shades 1,3 and 9 as I am normally a more bronze toned eyeshadow girl.

What do you think of MUA's latest palette offering?

MAC Lipstick Collection

As many of you know I love my lipsticks, I could talk all day about them and most of all I can't stop buying them. I own a massive variety of them but something that always seems to pop up is people asking me about my MAC lipsticks, I've had quite a few emails asking me to do a collection post on them so I thought today I would. I don't have the biggest collection of them but I have a fair few and here they are...

Starting from the back...
1st Row L-R - Ruby Woo, Impassioned, Something New (LE), Saint Germain, Pink Friday (LE)
2nd Row L-R - Morange, Vegas Volt, Costa Chic, Viva Glam Nicki (LE)
3rd Row L-R - Lustering, Crosswires, Please Me
4th Row L-R - Creme Cup and Hue
All were priced at £13.50 Each.

As you can probably tell my favourite is Hue, I have been through so many of them I've lost count. My favourite bright has to be Impassioned, it puts me in such a good mood when I wear it and I just feel more myself with it on.

So there you have it, my MAC Lipstick Collection.

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

Liz Earle is my go to skincare brand, I love their products and am an absolute Cleanse and Polish convert. So when I was asked if I would like to try their Gentle Face Exfoliator I of course didn't say no, I am now on my 4th bottle of it so I think that already proves how much I love it.

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator - 70ml - £13.50

I did include this in my Skincare Saviours Post where I gave it a little run down but thought it was time I gave it a full review.

First off I love the packaging, I am a girl that loves clean looking packaging especially in my skincare products. The bottle has a pump which makes it easy for dispensing just the right amount of product and I have never experienced any blocking or anything like that with it.

The exfoliator itself is very creamy and lathers nicely, leaving you feeling like you have not only treated your face to a nice little treat but have also given it a thorough clean. The exfoliating beads inside are like small beads instead of harsh scratchy ones like other exfoliators I have tried.

Overall I really like this exfoliator and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new one to try, although if you have really sensitive skin I would say give it a miss.

Have you tried this?

MUA Undressed Palette

Since I've started blogging I have gotten more and more into make up like I am sure most bloggers do, I mean I have always been absolutely make up obsessed but certain things like eyeshadows were never really on my love list. Now I have quite a collection of them and enjoy using them practically everyday. One brand I have found that are great for their quality and price are MUA.

Top Picture, L-R - Shades 1-6
Bottom Picture, L-R - Shades 7-12

The Undressed Palette is here to make you embrace the fresh faced look, with 12 warm nude shades now I am a massive fan of the Heaven and Earth Palette from MUA and this just seems like a good adaption of that with a few more sultry colours thrown in for good measure.

The quality of these eyeshadows is on par with all of MUA's shadows, which could easily pass as much higher end in quality. The pigmentation of the eyeshadows themselves are really good with the colour pay off being really intense after one little swipe, shades 1, 3 and 5 are the only ones that don't have that great a pay off but are buildable.

Are you eyeing up the Undressed palette or do you already have it?
What do you think of it?

I'm Back!!!

So I am back from Magaluf which I have to say was the most amazing holiday I have had in a very very long time, there aren't many pictures from it as we were having far too much fun and forgot about them after bout 10 minutes of being in the country!.

You may recognise one of the girls in the picture as Tanya from Secrets From Behind The Mask she was my holiday buddy, we had such a laugh and so much fun which included terrorising Stags at the hotel with ice cubes, lots of inside jokes and a fair amount of Sex on the Beach... The drinks, of course!

It was so great we have actually already booked next year before we even left our hotel!.
